The Gain Project was officially launched on Friday 28th April 2006 at the stylish Ritzy, Brixton. The day was filled with great excitement and enthusiasm from all the guests, Lambeth Council and the Gain Project team.

Guests invited to the Launch included individuals from supportive training partnerships, local employers, local GP surgeries, Job Centre Plus, Lambeth College and the London Borough of Lambeth.

As part of the launch agenda, a short DocuMovie was shown explaining the purpose of the Gain Project and a history of the Tomorrow’s People Trust and its achievements to date. This was followed by presentations from Julie Sexton (National Operations Manager – Tomorrow’s People Trust), Ian Parker (Lambeth Council) and Dr Roy MacGregor (The James Wigg Practice).

The launch was an enormous success where all guests and Gain Project staff had an opportunity to network during the buffet dinner. Consequently since the launch, the Gain Project has continued to become incredibly popular amongst Lambeth residents and achieving excellent results.
